Sigh.

A faint sigh my spoken best, now, now.

I've been all cheers and sighs lately. My drama side seems to be at bloom. Anyway, here is what I consider one of my best exercises of September.

The Origin of Jellyfish Madness.

Uff, I'm sure you will get to see a lot of jellyfish or octopus or tentacles around here, 'cause I like them pretty much. Particularly, "Medusín" my ID jellyfish came to me as a random element during an illustration. The most important thing there was the idea of Mexican pyramids under the sea.
There I was coming up with mermaids, fishes, and Medusín arrived and asked me if we could be best friends. Obviously I agreed, and here we are now, up till today, sharing some jellylove.

Requiem

You can always feel unsure about what you like the most. Be glad about it for it will take you to search for something different, hopefully better.

This was initially and exercise for Calva, then got some Mumford love and ended up like this.

Shout

This animation was for an EA contest. Done by hand for I had no idea about Flash. Anyway, I really like the part of the soccer player and the logo at the end. The song is SHOUT! by The Beatles.

Are you gonna be in my dreams?

Coatlicue, yes that's her name, is the result of my first attempt towards coming up with something decent without using any reference, searching my own style and so on. Some color tips came from Yaio ( http://yahirgarcia.blogspot.com/ )
I like how she came out.

I'm still fighting with backgrounds for this kind of drawings. Any ideas?

This is it.

After all, I've decided to make the move out of deviant and into a shinny blog. Who knows maybe someday, i'll have a website of my own. I'll start on posting almost everything (worthy) I do.

Just an advice, I'm searching my own style, feels like a path towards the force or something, anyway, wish me luck and here we go.

By the way, I may be posting every now and then old work. Not like old sketches 'cause a friend of mine lost my sketchbook (right Jotzi?), but other "finished" pieces. Oh, one last announcement, this blog will be held in English to honor Cookiebert, whom I miss & love intensly.
